  Discovering your parents are human!

  a bit of background: a young actress in a local soapie was killed tragically a few weeks ago.

  the producers of the program which is screened daily, decided to kill off her character.

  today's episode revolved aroung her funeral.. now i am a bit mushy and i shed a tear or two whilst watching.

  A bit of background: A young actress in a local soapie was killed tragically a few weeks ago. The producers of the program which is screened daily, decided to kill off her character. Today's episode revolved aroung her funeral.

  Now I am a bit mushy and I shed a tear or two whilst watching. My little boy noticed and he got so upset! He started crying which made me cry even more. Eventually when I regained my composure and managed to calm him down, he looked at me and in all seriousness said "I didn't know Mommies and Daddies can get sad and cry".

  So I was wondering whether this is the first time in his 4 years and 11 months that he realised that I am human?

  Well I love handbags - they are the ultimate accessory and I have quite a collection. My husband also uses my bag to store his wallet and keys when we go out.

  Currently I am using a black ninewest bag with the following contents:

  Purse, 2 sets of keys (Car and home), Makeup bag (with 8 lipsticks???), sunglasses, spectacles, toy car, my daughter's socks(?), a diary, cellphone, medicine (as per Loubelle's thread), ID Book and a bottle of water...

  I guess I am a "everything but the kitchen sink" kinda girl!

  Meds & Vitamins

  so i was going through my bag, pulling out the pills and vitties i take every day and it amounts to quite a bit.. every day i have to take 3 medicated pills: ecotrin - thins the blood.

  eltroxin & dyroxin to stimulate my thyroid.

  every day i take: 4 fibre tablets (different times of the day) 1 supradin vitamin in the morning to get me going, 1 sachet bioplus mid morning to keep me going and a berocca effervescent tablet in the late afternoon to round the day off.. my grand total of: 10 a day..

  Having a Baby......?

  so i'll be turning 32 soon.

  my life has been mostly pleasant.

  i don't have any 5 year plan or anything like that, but i do want to be a mom no later than 34. i am single, no great love of my life, not even someone to like out there at the moment.

  Being a mom is the most challenging and rewarding experience in the world and I wouldn't swop my life as a mom for anything else... but... I dont know how I would cope if it weren't for their Dad.

  But I guess I cant really imagine - I am not in your shoes - My man has been a part of my life for the last 11 years so I have never contemplated going it alone. I suppose if I had to be a single mom I would find a way, but I wouldn't do it willingly, no matter how insane he drives me at times

  and also your friend who was going to have the abortion?

  what did she do in the end?.

  Just to set the record straight - I am not calling Cognac a troll - I realise that Cognac is a regular poster on this site.

  I recall her posting some fairly significent stories and it would be nice to know the outcome of these events.
